About Victoria University

Victoria University (VU) is an institution of higher learning with several locations in Europe and Asia. It provides unique opportunities for developing the individual skills of each student as they seek to attain their career goals. VU programs are available in a number of locations and qualified students can easily move among these campus locations.

As the business sector becomes ever more globalised it is essential that VU students have the skills of communication, market research, inter-cultural awareness and business acumen to work effectively in the global marketplace. VU programs offer the development of foundation skills in literacy, numeracy and research. VU seeks to develop the student's curiosity and interest in establishing new business ideas and models for the 21st Century. Students in VU programs are expected to establish international teams with students from the various VU campus locations as they work on common business caes as assigned. The necessary communications and data transfer technology are to be utilized to enhance such experiences.

Victoria University was founded in 2001 in Switzerland. In the same year the government of the state of Singapore approved the VU Asia-Pacific programs. In 2004 a successful program of cooperation was launched with Beijing University - School of Business. In 2009 a third program was established with the Harper Adams University College in the U.K. In 2011 a program of cooperation at the MBA level was established with UNVA-Prague in the Czech Republic. VU has a student body of over 500 students and expects to have an enrollment of 1,000 by the Fall of 2012.

Victoria University MBA Program in Prague

The VU MBA (Master of Business Administration) in Prague, the Czech Republic, is taught in the American-style with experienced and qualified European and native English speaking faculty. The program includes all of the requirements for an international MBA.

This program is designed for future managers and business leaders and is suitable both for those continuing straight on from the undergraduate degree and for those with some years of work experience. The campus is in Prague 8 in a very convenient and accessible modern location just ten minutes by tram or eight minutes by metro to the historic old-town city center. By taking several additional courses, VU-MBA students can earn an additional M. Sc. in Business from UNVA-Prague.
